First 5 Fresno County’s Sustainability Project supports agencies in developing and implementing plans to sustain high-quality outcomes for children ages 0-5 in Fresno County.

First 5 Fresno County and our funded partners are making a huge difference and helping children enter school ready to learn.  Here are just a few of the highlights from this past fiscal year (2009-2010):
 

• More than 14,000 chidlren ages 0-5 and 3,285 children received on-going intensive services
• Approximately 2,018 professionals participated in professional development activities to strengthen their capacity to better serve children and families
• Approximately 3,537 children received developmental screenings and when appropriate, children were referred for services
